Location to central Queenstown is fantastic. Parking for cars given the location is also fantastic - it's first come first serve, but the staff were super helpful soo many times for me with the car parking - calling out Jayjim (duty manager) who got me out of a parking jam one of the late nights when we returned from a super long day trip. High standards of cleanliness which is absolutely amazing for an older-character property like this. Also - the morning breakfast buffet is superb and great value for money. More than anything else, what I really appreciated was how amazing and personable each and every staff member was, from the front-desk staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping staff - just all around A-stars!

We had a chalet lodge for our family and was great we had two floors so our daughter could sleep and we could still make food and have a drink in evening. The room itself is tired but would be good to have a good clean behind the beds, I pulled out the bed downstairs to plug in our baby monitor and huge cobwebs all along the back of the bed! Also a cupboard we hoped to store our luggage in was full of junk and rubble style materials which was a shame. The kitchen was well appointed and the view was amazing. Great stay but perhaps the main hotel would offer more updated facilities or cleaner bedrooms.

The Hotel is situated about 500 mts. from City Centre. Lots of restaurants, bars, supermarket, shops etc. within walking distance. The room allotted to us was larger than usual with a balcony facing the lake and the main street. the balcony had a wonderful view of the lake, city, gondola etc. The staff is efficient and service is good. The hotel is situated on a slope and to get into and out of the hotel, it is necessary to deal with the slope and some stairs depending on the room allotted. This needs to be kept in mind while booking. I would highly recommend this hotel to tourist visiting queenstown.

We had a lovely stay; The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was nice and warm, and had a lovely balcony, good ensuite and comfy beds. We bought breakfast as an add on and it was adequate, and we also ordered room service. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was lovely (More comments below) The bathroom was a bit dated, but the shower temp and water pressure were great! It is up on the hill, but the staff pointed out a gentler slope to walk up which made a huge difference. Despite some little niggles I would definitely stay here again.

As we had a front chalet, we had a slight lake view - excellent. The downside was a little bit of traffic noise. We also had a deck and garden. Inside was spacious, plenty of room to put suitcases and clothes. Easy to get down into the hub of Queenstown, steep walk back up - but it’s Queenstown! Bus stops not far from- if you need them Fabulous staff, super helpful and obliging. Good restaurant, excellent in room breakfast, delivered on time and hot.
